A client in Vancouver needed help modifying their existing closet to fit an IKEA PAX system. However, the closet’s limited space made it quite challenging. Here at Fix It Pros, we collaborated with the client to successfully complete the project. We removed the old header and installed a new, narrower one. This modification added an extra 2 inches of depth, making room for the PAX system to fit effectively. An increased header height improved easy access to the PAX unit, and the redesigned header supported two barn doors reaching the ground.Handyman for closet modification even included installing 3-inch casing and trim around the doorway and inside the closet to match the overall look.
